Project G-MAC

 

Project G-MAC (Giving Males Another Chance) is a component of “Miracles in the City Foundation” which is a 501 (c)  (3) non-profit organization.  Project G-MAC is a positive male development program that  focus on assisting males with achieving their professional, educational, personal goals, and positive health outcomes.  We stand ready to work with other community agencies, partners in government, faith base and civic organizations.  Together we will expand upon promising practices and programs that have shown the ability to produce measurable differences in the lives of young males.   

 

This Initiative will help to advance the life and career prospects of hundreds of at-risk young males within our local communities.  We want to enlist various agencies to work together with us to help these males access training, mentoring and other resources in such areas as education, employment, health, housing and the justice system.

 

Project G-MAC mission is to provide an environment of spiritual renewal that empowers  males to become responsible men, serve mankind, and to regain their rightful place in their communities.

 

Project G-MAC purpose is to empower males to become responsible men and productive members of their communities.  We will assist them in accomplishing this through developing respect for themselves and others.  As a result of  participating in this program, their maturity and positive mindset will increase.

 They are given the opportunity to identify and enhance their gifts, abilities, and talents.  Thereby, creating an atmosphere that encourage and enhance male bonding free of criticism.  So by breaking the fear, shame and guilt of how they feel will give them an opportunity for networking among peers and interacting with their mentor (s).
